Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (EWS) recently announced its annual State of Enterprise Connectivity Report, highlighting key issues impacting regions around the world.

To explore the pertinent issues facing businesses and industries across Canada, we consulted with the Canadian Ericsson EWS team and developed relevant local questions to be included in the survey.

Armed with Canadian data points and insights, we shared the findings with business, technology and industry editors, ensuring relevant stats were highlighted for each outlet, resulting in coverage in publications such as On-Site Magazine, Cartt.ca, CFOTech Canada and eChannelNews.

We continued to leverage the data to explain the evolution of 5G in Canada by arranging an interview with the local editor of Tech Day, who spoke with Jason Falovo, vice president and general manager of Canada at Ericsson EWS. Falovo provided an overview of private cellular networks and 5G, including data from the report indicating 5G will improve bandwidth, and will be a key enabler for the development of technical advancements like IoT and AI. The interview was published across multiple Tech Day news sites in Canada, including IT Brief Canada, ChannelLife Canada, TelcoNews Canada and SecurityBrief Canada.

We worked with Coach Atlantic Maritime Bus to illustrate how Cradlepoint helped them deliver on the promise of reliable connectivity to their customers. Before using Cradlepoint, there were growing numbers of customer complaints about onboard Wi-Fi. Subsequent to installing Cradlepoint, complaints have been almost non-existent.

To explore the subject further, we connected Cradlepoint CMO Donna Johnson with Shane Schick of 360 Magazine where she discussed the link between connectivity and customer experience.

We worked with Cradlepoint to explore the impact of connectivity on Canadian businesses. In May, we shared key insights and survey results. As the one-year anniversary of the historic service provider outage neared, we provided recommendations from the subject matter expert to help businesses better protect themselves from future outages.

To help increase thought leadership and educate important verticals about Cradlepoint in Canada, we prioritize placing bylined articles with key industry publications. 5G and IoT applications are current hot topics, so for Blue Line Magazine, we recently covered important trends for emergency services to consider in the connected vehicles space. In Canadian Mining Magazine, we highlighted the impact of wireless on the industry and how private cellular networks can support improved processes, increased safety and more on sites.

We worked with client Cradlepoint on a blog for IT World Canada highlighting the impact 5G will have on organizations and what investments they should be considering. 5G also has benefits for industries such as construction.
